To use Estimation Builder, you agree to a couple of plain-language policies. Here's what you'll be asked to agree to, when, and why.
Agreeing when you sign up
When you create your account, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service — that's noted right on the sign-up form. There's nothing extra to do; you're set the moment your account is created.
The "Before you continue" screen
Sometimes you'll sign in and see a short Before you continue screen asking you to agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You'll see it in two situations:
- You had an account before these policies were introduced, so we don't have your agreement on file yet.
- We've updated a policy since you last agreed.
Tick both boxes and choose Agree and continue to go straight to your dashboard. Each policy links out so you can read the full text first. We record the exact version you agreed to and the date — so you'll only be asked again if a policy actually changes. If you'd rather not agree, you can sign out from that screen.
Connecting an AI service
If you connect a third-party AI service to your account, you'll be asked to agree to one more thing first — a short statement covering what that connection allows. This is separate from the Privacy Policy and Terms above, and you'll only see it the first time you connect (and again if that statement changes). In short:
- A connected AI service can access your data and, with your permission, act on your behalf within Estimation Builder.
- Anything done through a connected AI service — including changes that can't be undone — is your responsibility.
- You can disconnect a connector at any time. That stops future access, but it can't recall data already shared.
